Eastman Kodak Co.
Home Portrait Camera #3
Date Introduced: – ; Years Manufactured: c. 1915-1929
Construction: front and rear focus via rack and pinion (two gear tracks on top of base rails); double swing; reversing by removable back; three-piece lensboard
Materials: walnut-stained cherry body, cherry base, black leatherette bellows (leather optional); nickeled hardware
Sizes Offered: 8×10
Notes: would appear to be a fairly direct copy of the Gundlach-Manhattan Home Portrait Camera made until about 1927. Apparently the #3 is to distinguish it from the Folmer & Schwing #’s 1 and 2, all made by EKC.
